PODS offers moving and storage services to residential and business customers across the U.S., Canada, Australia and the U.K. Successful expansion, including rapid growth of both local and long-distance moving services, created a new challenge: their homegrown digital technology solutions could simply not keep pace with demand.

The Response

A real-time, personalized solution

Horizontal partnered with PODS to re-imagine the customer and prospect journey across all digital touchpoints. While doing so, we architected an all-new, cloud-based digital experience platform powered by Sitecore, capable of supporting marketing sites, campaign destinations and customer portals — all to be onboarded via a progressive roadmap. Along the way, we trained PODS' internal technology and marketing teams on Sitecore best practices so they could leverage their new, best-in-class digital experience capabilities independently and control their own digital destiny.
